Update 13/11/22

FabricsbyCraftiKate has been open for 6 months now!

My current dispatch time for hand dyed fabric is around 4 weeks, I have had to extend this a little as I am a one woman team with two children and I am currently in my 3rd year of University study. Also with winter now drawing ever closer, the weather is not always co-operative when it comes to getting fabrics dry quickly and I do not have a large indoor drying space. If I am able to get them out quicker to you I will and if you need something quickly, please do get in touch and I'll do my best to accomodate you.

There is now a Fabric of the Month sign up section on the website to make it easier to find details etc.

Thank you all so much for supporting my small business over the last 6 months, I am so appreciative and thankful to each and every one of you.

Update 31/07/22

My order from Zweigart is arriving tomorrow, so I will spend the next week or so dyeing fabrics and getting orders out as quickly as I possibly can.

There is now a Needle Minder section on the website which I will be adding to over the next few weeks.

Bella Filipina Patterns should be with me within the next 14 days. I will update when they have arrived with me.

Update 04/07/2022

I am still waiting on a big delivery from Zweigart and it will probably be another 3-4 weeks before I have a lot of fabrics in stock, including 14ct, 16ct, 18ct and 32 Belfast, 32 Murano.

As soon as fabrics arrive I will send out an email about your order and when I will be dyeing your fabric, which will be ASAP.

Update and Lead Times 31/05/22

Zweigart have a long production time on some of their fabrics listed below.

Belfast 32ct Linen - Approximately 8 weeks

Murano 32ct Evenweave - Approx 4 weeks

Aida 18ct - Approx 4 weeks

If you are not happy to wait for Zweigart fabrics, I have the option to order Linens and Evenweaves from Fabric Flair, who also produce some beautiful fabrics that are lovely to stitch on. The lead time on Fabric Flair's fabrics is around 2-3 weeks as they delivery to me usually within a week or so.

If you would like your order in Fabric Flair please just pop a note on your order when you checkout, or feel free to contact me via email or on socials.

If you have ordered Belfast 32ct I have sent you an email detailing your options if you are not happy to wait.

Update and Stock 22/05/2022

Hi everyone!

So the website is live (finally) and I'm so excited about it! I am also so very thankful for everyone's support so far and the lovely feedback I've had about my fabrics. I hope you are all really enjoying stitching on them!

I'll be using this section to post updates about stock levels and current lead times on orders.

As some of you may know, due to the impact of Covid-19 around the globe, Zweigart have had a hard time producing some of their fabrics and they have built up a backlog of orders and production which is still having an effect on small fabric businesses. They are doing their absolute best to clear the backlog and make all of their fabrics readily available but I do ask that if possible, to please be patient as the timescale on the receipt of any orders from Zweigart, is wholly out of my control.

The current lead time on fabric orders for in stock fabrics is around 2-3 weeks. I will always ship as soon as I am able to, larger orders and custom orders may take a little longer to ship and I will always endeavour to keep you up to date about your order.

For custom cuts and fabrics that I don't have in stock it can be up to 5 weeks, but I will keep you up to date and do my best to not keep you waiting too long!

Ready to ship and printed fabrics will be posted within 2-3 working days.

Please bear with me as I am a one-woman operation busy cutting, serging, dyeing and ironing (and cross stitching when I get time!)

I will keep this section updated so that you can see what I have in stock so you know before you order.

If there will be a significant delay on a particular fabric for whatever reason, I will contact you so that you have the option to select another fabric or receive a refund on your order.
