Hopper's Town

There’s an imaginary town in the middle of the US which I think we would all like to visit. A town with an especially creepy and dark side. A town full of buildings and landmarks so vividly shown on screen that it’s as familiar to us as our own streets and alleys. A town with a rather emotionally damaged and exceptionally loveable Chief of Police that we would love to hug or scold or share a cigarette with.
